Harrisburg, PA - The HACC Hawks Rocket League team faced Carl Albert State College in a best of three series, Monday night. The match was a battle to the finish as the Hawks captured the victory in overtime play against Carl Albert State; 3-2.

Rocket League

The series kicked off fast and furious as Carl Albert State demonstrated some high speed and scored early in game one, capturing the first victory of the series. The HACC Hawks responded  in the second game with extreme defense. With a late push from the Hawks, the team was able to gain momentum and take the win. The third game Carl Albert State battled back and held the lead to the finish. Carl Albert State's offense was just too much for the Hawks in game three. The Hawks trailed behind scoring only one goal, but held a strong defense. Carl Albert State managed to squeeze two goals passed the Hawks near the end of the match taking the Hawks two goal lead away. But, team captain Ben "Finalben7" Kauffman, brought the heat with a crucial goal keeping the Hawks alive. The Hawks took the win in game three. Game four was a tough battle in the arena, but Carl Albert State finished strong with a victory. The series entered game five with Carl Albert State holding the lead. In game five both teams played strategically battling for the lead. The game entered into overtime, where the Hawks managed to score the winning goal, giving the series to the HACC Hawks. This concludes the Rocket League Regular Season, placing the HACC Hawks third in their division with a 7-2 overall record.
