Hawks Unable to Rally Against Mustangs

Harrisburg, PA –  The HACC Hawks men's basketball team were on the road, Tuesday night, to take on the Mustangs of Montgomery County Community College.

After suffering their first defeat of the season on Saturday, the Hawks looked to get back on track against the Mustangs. The team put up a strong effort, but the Mustangs' offense was too much for the Hawks. The Mustangs captured the lead in the first half 54-35. The Hawks came back the second half trailing behind 40-63. Despite their efforts to gain momentum in the second half, the HACC Hawks were unable to take the lead from the Mustangs. The Mustangs cruised through to the finish line with a 42-point victory over the Hawks; 117-75.

Keith Davis lead the way with 26 points and five assists for the Hawks. Christian Bingaman finished with 18 points and six assists. Elijah Thomas rallied 13 points with five assists for the Hawks.

The Hawks will hit the road on Saturday, January 22, 2022 to take on the Northampton Community College Spartans. Tip-off is set for 12 noon.
