Bulldog’s 3-Point Shooting Downs Hawks

Harrisburg, PA –  The HACC Hawks men's basketball team faced the Bulldogs of Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology Tuesday night in a tough match-up. The Bulldogs fired on all cylinders shooting a 44.4% at the 3-point line, holding an edge over the Hawks.

The Bulldogs set the tone for the game as the Hawks struggled to gain momentum to put points on the board. The Bulldogs took the lead, ending the first half 46-28. The second half the Hawks responded back, finding their rhythm. The Hawks shot 73.9% at the charity stripe, working to close the gap. However, the Bulldogs offense was too strong for the Hawks. The team trailed behind in the second, 30-50. The Bulldogs cruised through to the finish line with a final score of 96-58.

The Hawks had three players score in double figures. Leading the pack was Keith Davis with a game high of 19 points. Christian Bingaman followed, capturing 11 points and five rebounds. Elijah Thomas rallied ten points with two rebounds and two assists.

The Hawks take on the Montgomery Community College Mustangs on Thursday, February 3, 2022. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.  The Hawks women's basketball team will tip off at 5 p.m. against the Mustangs.
