HACC Hawks Men’s Basketball Falls to Spartans on the Road

Harrisburg, PA –  The HACC Hawks men's basketball team faced the Spartans of Northampton Community College Tuesday night, in a tough match-up. The HACC Hawks put up a strong team effort, but fell to the Spartans 47-99.

Northampton Community College came out strong and took the lead the first half setting the tone for the game. The Hawks battled back as they worked to gain momentum, however they were unable to capture the lead, ending the first half 17-49.  The second half, the Hawks worked together to close the gap shooting 50% at the charity stripe. The Hawks captured 30 points the second half, working to cruise by the Spartans. The Spartans offense was just too strong and held the lead, collecting 50 more points on the board to surpass the Hawks. The Spartans captured the win over the Hawks; 47-99.

Leading the squad for the Hawks with 13 points and eight rebounds was Vincent Fonticoba. Javon Ford followed, capturing 12 points with three assists. Lincoln Morris rallied six points for the Hawks with four assists and three rebounds.
