Men's Basketball Defeated at Home by Lehigh Carbon

Harrisburg, PA - The HACC Hawks men's basketball team hosted the Cougars of Lehigh Carbon Community College for a conference battle. Lehigh Carbon was able to capture the victory, 99-87 over the Hawks.

Sophomore Anthony Alviani led the HACC Hawks in scoring with 22 points on the board and five assists. Freshman, Lincoln Morris, followed tallying 19 points going 3 for 6 at the three-point line with eight assists. Vincent Fonticoba was another powerhouse for the Hawks adding 16 points in the contest with nine rebounds. Kevin Perales captured six points and had eight rebounds and eight assists for the Hawks.

Both teams came out firing on all cylinders the first half as the Hawks kept the Cougars on their toes. But the Cougars slowly began to take the lead at the end of the first half as the Hawks trailed behind. The Cougars held the lead into the second half as the Hawks continued to battle back closing the gap. However, the Cougars held the lead and cruised through to the finish, ending the match with a final score of 99-87.

 

The Hawks will face Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2023 in the Evans Center Gymnasium. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
