Hawks Drop Home EPAC Contest Against Delaware County

Harrisburg, PA – The HACC Hawks men's basketball team faced the Phantoms of Delaware County CC on Tuesday evening. The Hawks fell to the Phantoms 72-57.  

Both teams came out strong the first half battling to take the lead. Both teams brought the intensity, setting the tone for the game as the score went back and forth. Each team came out firing on all cylinders, the Phantoms shooting a FGM percentage of 48.4% as the Hawks shooting a FGM percentage of 32.4% ending the first half in a tie 34-34. At the start of the second, the Hawks changed momentum and with a team effort worked to take the lead. The game was evenly matched and in the second half free throws became crucial. The Hawks were unable to keep pace with the Phantoms as they began to capitalize offensively and take the lead to the finish. The Phantoms took the victory, ending the match 72-57.

Leading the pack for the Hawks was Jaiden Baltimore with a game high of 26 points and seven rebounds. Isaiah Bostic followed tallying nine points and four rounds. Vincent Fonticoba added five points to the board with 13 rebounds for the Hawks.
