Hawks Snag Win Against Delaware County CC

Harrisburg, PA – The HACC Hawks men's basketball team pulled at 59-58 win over Delaware County Community College Saturday afternoon.

After suffering a tough defeat against Luzerne County CC, the team bounced back with a win against the Phantoms. The Hawks scored early and took the lead the first half, but the Phantoms kept it close. Both teams continued to battle to stay on top, as there were several lead changes within the first half. The Hawks narrowly captured the lead ending the first half 30-26. Free throws were crucial in the second half. The Hawks shot 76.9% as the team battled to hold the lead over the Phantoms. Isaiah Bostic brought the heat as the second half neared the end. He rallied 15 points for the Hawks, giving the team the push to pull away for the 59-58 victory.

Leading the pack for the Hawks was Jaiden Baltimore with 21 points and seven rebounds. Following was Isaiah Bostic with 15 points and three rebounds. Vincent Fonticoba rallied 12 points with nine rebounds and two steals.

 

The Hawks hit the road on Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2024 to take on Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
