Hawks Men’s Soccer Win Its First Match of the Season Against Lehigh Carbon

Harrisburg, PA – The Hawks men's soccer team defeated the Lehigh Carbon Cougars in Double Overtime 3-2 in Saturdays match. The win was the first of the season for the HACC Hawks.

Wenotoen Clovis Kobre came up big for the HACC Hawks, scoring two goals against the Cougars. Both teams battled for the lead as the gap closed ending the match in a tie 2-2. The game then headed into Double Overtime and with one final push from Hawks, Wenn Marvynn Oyougou was able to score, capturing the win; 3-2. Ayman Boukhars was in the net for the Hawks and recorded eight saves, only allowing two goals.

 

The Hawks men's soccer team will face Lackawanna College on Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2022. The game is set to start at 4pm. The women's soccer team will play at 2pm.
