Harrisburg, PA – The Hawks Women's Volleyball team faced Northampton Community College on Thursday, Sept. 14, 2023. The Hawks fell to the Spartans, 3-1 in a conference matchup. The Hawks are now 3-3 overall this season.

Match 1: HACC 1, Northampton CC 3 - Final

The Northampton Spartans set the tone for Thursdays match as they took the lead early wining the first and second sets. The Hawks bounced back in the third set after a hard-fought win, with a score of 25-20 sending the game into a fourth set. But the Spartans continued to dominate the game as they snuck by in the last set and narrowly took the win with an end score of 26-24.

Megan DiAngelis and Mackenzie Maass were two offensive powerhouses for the Hawks. DiAngelis recorded 10 kills, while Maas recorded 12 kills. Emily Myers led the squad in serve aces recording three for the team's offense. Aliza Sellars was active with 31 digs and recorded one serve ace. Camyrn Heth fed her team all night tallying 43 assists. 

The Hawks Women's Volleyball team will hit the road on Saturday Sept. 23, 2023 and face Montgomery County Community College. The match is set to start at 12 noon.
