Harrisburg, PA –  The Hawks Women's Volleyball team faced Dleaware Tech CC on Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2023. The Hawks swept the Squares 3-0. This win improves the teams overall record 10-7.

The HACC Hawks celebrated the dedication and achievements of the five sophomores before the start of the match. Mackenzie Maass, Megan DiAngelis, Elana Grove, Kaitlin Pluta, and Tennison McGraw were all recognized and thanked for their hard work and contributions to the volleyball program.

Match 1: HACC 3, Delaware Tech CC 0 - Final

The Hawks dominated against Delaware Tech CC in each set of the match, taking the lead early and often. The Squares battled back with a great team effort and began to close the gap in set three. But with a late push from the Hawks, the Mustangs fell behind ending the third set 17-25.

Kaitlin Pluta and Mackenzie Maass were two offensive powerhouses for the Hawks. Pluta recorded 10 kills and two serve aces, while Maas recorded 18 kills with three serve aces. Aliza Sellars was active with 21 digs and recorded six serve aces. Camryn Heth tallied 26 assists for the Hawks offense.
