Harrisburg, PA -The Hawks started on a match of control on Lijiang Towers (0-2) against SUNY Corning. However, SUNY Corning was able to take the point first on round 1. The Hawks had a great push in an effort to capture the point for themselves, but only was able to take 20% before SUNY Corning took the lead back. Round 2, the Hawks struggled to get a foothold on the point, unable to get any time on it. Map 2 goes to King's Row for a Hybrid game. With a role swap from team captain Jonathan "TheJean" Cunnings onto healer and Evenie "evethebean" Rosado onto tank, the Hawks switch up their style allowing them to capture the payload in only 2 minutes. Unfortunately, they can only push it halfway to the point, while SUNY Corning CC was able to match their distance with 4 minutes to spare on their attempt. A game of payload on Havana is played for map 3, where the Hawks get their first map win of the series! With both teams nearly getting the payload all the way, the Hawks get the payload further with a distance of 87m, compared to Corning's only 79m. Sadly, cutting their opponents' momentum on map 3 was just not enough, as a game of push on Esperanca is the final map of the match. SUNY Corning was able to push the bot all the way, while the Hawks were only able to get 30 meters of their own.

Overwatch 2 Team Red did not play this week due to a reschedule. Instead, they will be doing a double header of their first 2 matches on Friday night.
