Harrisburg, PA – The Hawks Women's Volleyball team faced Raritan Valley Community College and Harcum College in a Home Tri-match Saturday Sept. 10, 2022. The Hawks won both matches improving their overall record 5-0.

Match 1: HACC 3, Raritan Valley CC 1 - Final

The Hawks battled against Raritan Valley CC in the first set of the match, struggling to take the lead. The Lions cruised by with a 25-21 victory over the Hawks. The second set the Hawks got down to business and battled back taking the lead by just a few points; 28-26. The third set HACC took control, dominating the court leading to a 25-14 win. The fourth set the Hawks continued to dominate cruising by the Lions with a 25-23 finish.

Taylor Beeler led the squad with 16 kills, while Kendall Wales added 10 kills. Ashley NyeSmith was active with 23 digs. Sydnee Wishard added 12 digs and Taylor Beeler 14. Kyla Kolivoski recorded 41 assists and 21 digs. 
 

Match 2: HACC 3, Harcum 0 - Final

The second matchup of the tri-match was against the Harcum College Bears. The HACC Hawks got right to work building an early lead the first set. The Hawks took the first set 25-2. The second and third sets were controlled by the HACC Hawks, ending in a 25-7 and 25-19 win.

Mackenzie Maass had a team high of 8 kills to pair with her three serve aces. Kyla Kolivoski led the team with 21 assists. Ashley NyeSmith recorded 10 digs and five serve aces. Taylor Beeler followed recording 9 digs.

The Hawks Women's Volleyball team will travel to Delaware Technical Community College on September 15, 2022. The match is set to start at 6 p.m.
