Harrisburg, PA – The Hawks Women's Volleyball team faced Frederick Community College and Raritan Valley in a Tri-match Saturday Sept. 14, 2024. The Hawks won both matches improving their overall record 3-2.

Match 1: HACC 3, Frederick 0 - Final

The Hawks dominated against Frederick Community College in the Tri-match. The Hawks finished with a convincing win against the Cougars; 3-0. Zoe Velez led the squad with 13 kills, while Amber Sprout rallied 7 kills.  Camryn Heth recorded 10 assists for the Hawks. 
 

Match 2: HACC 3, Raritan Valley 2 - Final

The second matchup of the tri-match was against the Raritan Valley Lions. The HACC Hawks got right to work building an early lead the first set. The Hawks took the first set 25-22. The second set the Lions came back as they narrowly took the win 25-22 The third and fourth sets was a battle to the finish by both teams as Raritan Valley took the third; 25-23 and HACC won the forth 25-18. The match then went into the fith decding set and each team battled to take the lead. HACC gained momentum and captured the lead taking the fifth set; 15-13. 

Zoe Velez had a team high of 19 kills. Camryn Heth led the team with 42 assists and tallied 2 serve aces.
