Harrisburg, PA – The Hawks Women's Volleyball team faced Lancaster Bible College on Monday, Sept. 16, 2024. The Hawks fell to the Chargers, 3-1 in a tough matchup. The Hawks are now 3-3 overall this season.
Match 1: HACC 1, Lancaster Bible College 3 - Final
The HACC Hawks set the tone for Mondays match as they took the lead early wining the first set 25-16. However, the Chargers bounced back in the second set after a hard-fought win, with a score of 25-21. In the third match the Chargers were able to hold the lead over the Hawks as they narrowly took the win 25-20 sending the game into a fourth set. The Chargers continued to dominate the game as they snuck by in the last set and took the win with an end score of 25-14.
Kelly Bastian and Peyton Maass were two offensive powerhouses for the Hawks. Bastian recorded 8 kills, while Maas recorded 9 kills. Camryn Heth led the squad in serve aces recording three for the team's offense. Peyton Maass was active with 16 digs and recorded one serve ace. Camryn Heth fed her team all night tallying 21 assists.
The Hawks Women's Volleyball team will hit the road on Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2024 and face Community College of Philly Lions. The match is set to start at 6 p.m.
