Harrisburg, PA – The Hawks Women's Volleyball team faced Harcum College and Lackawanna on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2024 in a Tri-match. The Hawks swept Harcum College Bears 3-1 but fell to Lackawanna 3-0.

Match 1: HACC 3, Harcum College 1- Final

The Hawks battled against Harcum College in the first set of the match, as the Bears kept the score close and captured the win. But with a late push from the Hawks, the Bears trailed behind as the Hawks took the last three sets. In the last set the Hawks dominated as they captured the lead early over the Bears, ending the third set 17-25.

Peyton Maass and Kelly Bastian were two offensive powerhouses for the Hawks with 12 kills each. Maass recorded 12 kills and 23 digs, while Bastian recorded 12 kills and 4 serve aces and 12 digs.  Camryn Heth fed her team all night tallying 40 assists. Zoe Velez rallied 4 serve aces and 14 digs for the Hawks.

Match 2: HACC 0, Lackawanna 3 - Final

The second matchup of the tri-match was against Lackawanna College. The HACC Hawks battled to take the lead as the Falcons got right to work building an early lead the first set. The Falcons took the first set 25-17. The second and third sets were controlled by the Lackawanna Falcons ending in 25-13 and 25-16 wins.

Peyton Maass had a team high of 7 kills. Camryn Heth led the team with 16 assists. Peyton Maass and Zoe Velez both recorded 11 digs. Kelly Bastian followed recording 9 digs.
