Hawks Cross Country Compete at Region XIX Championship
Harrisburg, PA - The HACC Cross Country team competed at the Region XIX Championship on Saturday, October 30, 2021. The meet was held at White Clay Creek State Park in Newark, DE, with NJCAA Division I and NJCAA Division III competing.
Both the men's and women's field were small, but fast right out of the gate. In the women's bracket, HACC's Hedalis Henriquez Lopez placed fourth in Division III and received All-Region. HACC's Matthew Getz placed 13th out of 39 in the Division III field for the men's bracket. The top fifteen runners were within three minutes in of each other closing the gap in pursuit of first place in the Division III field.
Coach Wingert is very proud of the entire team for their effort, dedication, and willingness to navigate this season. She is looking forward to next season and continuing to build on what was accomplished this year.
